Orbost Primary School, Ruskin Street, No 2744 has been serving the rural community of Orbost since 1886. It is the largest primary school in Orbost with an enrolment of approximately 190 students.
Through its comprehensive curriculum programs, dedicated caring staff and inclusive policies, Orbost Primary School aims to:

Our student values of getting along, developing self confidence, making people feel like they belong and being the best I can be are encouraged, taught and valued by our whole school community.
Our school is very well resourced with nine learning areas for classroom instruction, well equipped library, art room, staff room and administration areas along with a multi-purpose hall.
Our school is well equipped for 21st century teaching and learning, with interactive whiteboards in each learning area and good student access to computers in flexible learning spaces throughout the school.
Orbost Primary School has an active parent body who participate widely in the development of policies and future direction of the school. Both Parents Club and School Council meet on a monthly basis and contribute positively to the management of the school.
